How full-payment sourcing protects you
Asking for the whole amount before we buy a car can sound like it only protects the seller. This guide explains how the rule works on both sides, what we do with a sourcing request, what you can check at every step, and what happens if we cannot find the car you asked for within your budget.
The rule in one sentence
You pay in full before we buy the car or book shipping, and if we cannot source the car at or under the budget you set, you get your money back by the route stated on your order. There is no part payment, no reservation fee and no request to top up later.
Why one payment instead of instalments
When a car is paid for in stages, every stage is a point where the deal can stall: the car is held but not bought, or bought but not shipped, while the next payment is chased. One full payment removes those gaps. Once the money is received and matched to your order, the car can be bought and shipping booked without waiting on anyone.
It also keeps the price honest. The amount you pay is the amount the server works out for your order: the vehicle, the shipping to your chosen port and any insurance you selected. Nobody can change it by editing a form or a message.
What happens to a sourcing request
When a car is not in our listings, you can send a sourcing request with the make, model, year, your budget in US dollars and your destination port. We only source cars at or under the budget you state. If we cannot find one that meets your specification within that budget, we tell you, and we do not substitute a different car without your agreement.
Shipping for a sourced car is quoted separately once the car is found, and it is paid in full before shipping is booked.
What you can check before and after paying
Before you pay, the checkout shows the full total for the vehicle, shipping and optional insurance. It also shows which payment methods are open. Only those methods are accepted; if a method is not shown, it is not available, and we will never ask you to pay by another route over WhatsApp.
After you place the order you get an order reference. The payment page shows the exact amount and the instructions for the method you chose. Payment is matched to your order by our system, and an order only moves to paid when the exact amount is verified. You can look up your order with its reference and your email address.
Before shipping, we send you the VIN and the export documents for the car.
Payment methods and what they mean for you
Bank transfer and USDT are offered when they are configured, and card is offered only when the card provider is fully set up. For bank transfer and USDT, placing the order does not move any money; you then pay using the details shown. For USDT, send exactly the amount shown on the network shown. Underpayments, overpayments and late payments are flagged for review rather than accepted automatically.
We never ask for your wallet password, recovery phrase or private key, and nobody from LWD Africa will.
What we ask of you
Give us an honest budget and a clear specification: make, model, year, drive side and destination port. The clearer the request, the faster we can tell you whether a car exists at or under that budget. Check your country's current import rules before you send the request, because a car you cannot register is no use to you however well it was sourced. Keep your order reference to hand, and send proof of payment on WhatsApp with that reference so the payment can be matched without delay.
If we cannot deliver
If we cannot source the car at or under your budget, the money you paid is returned by the refund route stated on your order. The details are in our terms. We do not convert your payment into credit or ask you to accept a different car.
What is not covered by your payment
Your payment covers the vehicle, the freight to your chosen port and any insurance you selected. It does not cover destination duty, VAT, levies or customs clearance, which are set by your country's customs authority and paid at your end. We do not quote duty; confirm the current rules with customs before you order.
